As we wrap up our 150th year, we’re building on a remarkable legacy of care and compassion that wouldn’t have been possible without your support. For generations, families have turned to Merrymount Family Support and Crisis Centre during their most challenging times, and thanks to you, we’ve been there to help.

Every day, we see how much timely support can mean to a child or family in need. Life doesn’t pause when challenges arise, and children can’t afford to wait for help. Your gift today ensures that when families reach out, Merrymount is ready to respond.

A single father recently shared how Merrymount became a lifeline for him and his young son, Noah (name changed for privacy). When parenting felt overwhelming or school struggles became too much, he found not only guidance and encouragement, but also a compassionate team he could count on.

“Merrymount was always willing to give me an outlet on an emergency basis if I was struggling with Noah or if Noah was struggling at school. The door was constantly left open and there was a plan implemented.”

For Noah and his dad, Merrymount became a place of support and growth, a space where challenges were met with understanding and solutions.

As a trusted organization and part of London’s children’s mental health network, we serve over 8,000 children and 2,500 families each year through innovative programs designed to support their overall well-being. One of these programs, Skyscrapers, is a key part of our Child Mental Wellness Program, offering 18 beds for children aged 4–12 who are facing or at risk of mental health challenges. Using a trauma-informed, child-centred, and strength-based approach, we help children build emotional resilience and confidence while supporting their families.

Each night of care for a child costs $274, and to keep this 24/7 vital service running, Merrymount must raise $875,000 annually in addition to government funding. It is the generosity of supporters like you that makes this vital service possible.
