2026 Family Beach Fest Recap

On March 21, we welcomed everyone to The Beach Hangar for our very first Merrymount Family Beach Fest and it was so much fun!

The space quickly came to life with sand games and activities, crafts, and face painting, giving participants plenty of ways to jump in and take part. We were also excited to welcome special guests who added an extra layer of fun to the day: Forest the Lumberjack, along with a princess and Pete the Pirate from Storybook Gardens.

While everyone had a blast, the event also raised funds for Merrymount’s 24/7 Child Mental Wellness Program, which promotes social, emotional, behavioural, and mental wellness in children aged 0–12. Seeing the community come together for a day of fun while supporting such an important cause made it extra special.
