
Accessing Our Services
Intake is a family’s first step in seeking support during a crisis or transition. Families come to Merrymount for a variety of reasons, such as family violence, housing crisis, or parental illness. They may contact the Merrymount intake office directly (self-referral), or may be referred by an organization or individual such as a shelter, school, doctor, or lawyer.
Intake staff meet with families to assess how Merrymount and/or community agencies can provide appropriate service and support.
Staff respond to intake requests within 24 hours, and most emergency requests can be accommodated immediately.
