needs of prenatal and post natal teen parents.

In the Middle
This one evening community partnership program is recommended for families who are newly separated or contemplating separation.
Offered on the last Tuesday of each month (except July, August and December) from 5:30-7:30 pm at Merrymount.

Well Baby and Child Clinic
A Public Health Nurse and a Nurse Practitioner from the Health Zone, will be available to answer questions about you and you growing family.

Smart Start for Babies
A prenatal and postnatal nutrition and support program for women at risk of delivering a low birth weight baby. Merrymount hosts this program once a month for postnatal parents.

Prenatal Classes
Learn what is expected during pregnancy and child birth and how to care for your new born child.
Register early in pregnancy by contacting the Middlesex London Health Unit at 663-5317.
Women's Community House
Women’s Community House and Merrymount joined expertise and resources to provide a Child Advocate position to the Wellington and Clarke Road sites. The Child Advocate assists children in their transition to shelter and offers one-on-one and group support during their stay. Follow up with the family upon leaving shelter includes; assisting in locating schools/ obtaining childcare or age appropriate activities for the children and referrals to other community resources beneficial to the health and well-being of the child (ren).
